Richard Blanco (AKA SlackerTide)

Illustrator, designer, avid fisherman, lousy golfer. 20+ years into my design career and still having fun doing it. I received my BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1996. My focus was on painting, printmaking and visual communications. I’ve worked with nearly every type of client, from large blue chip companies while working at Leo Burnett advertising, to small mom and pop operations, and everything in between.

Since 2014 I’ve been residing in South Florida and working closely with apparel brands in the outdoor industry, breweries, and simultaneously running my own brand Slackertide ( I’m guessing that’s how you found me). I’m a one man band, that brings years of design, illustration, production, and branding experience to the table.
